Community Guidelines

Be respectful

• Treat every participant with kindness, regardless of their language level, accent or background.
• No discrimination, harassment, hate speech or personal attacks.
• Give people time to think and speak — patience is part of learning.

Keep conversations inclusive

• Stick to the language of the room so everyone can participate.
• Share speaking time — invite quieter members into the conversation.
• Avoid dominating the room; a good exchange is a two-way street.

Learn together

• Correcting others is welcome when it is kind and helpful — ask first if unsure.
• Mistakes are part of the process; celebrate progress, not perfection.
• Curiosity about other cultures is encouraged; judgement is not.

Protect privacy

• Do not record sessions or share screenshots without everyone's consent.
• Do not share other participants' personal information outside the session.

Keep it appropriate

• No promotion, advertising, spam, or requests for money.
• No sexually explicit, violent, or illegal content.
• Sessions are for adults; some rooms may have their own additional rules.

Reporting

Moderators may remove participants who violate these guidelines. If you witness inappropriate behaviour, please report it to salon1@pglengage.com. All reports are treated confidentially.
