We collect only the information necessary to coordinate language exchange activities, moderator recruitment and, where applicable, participation in the L'engage Humanitarian Interpreter Reserve.
For participants in the Humanitarian Interpreter Reserve, information about medical terminology experience is collected solely to help identify volunteers who may be suitable for requests received from humanitarian organizations.
We process your personal data based on your explicit consent, which you provide when submitting one of our registration forms.
You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting salon1@pglengage.com.
Data is securely stored within L'engage's dedicated Google Workspace account, protected by two-factor authentication.

We do not sell, rent or share your personal information with third parties.
If a verified humanitarian organization requests language support during an emergency, L'engage may contact volunteers whose language skills and availability match the request.
Your personal information will only be shared with that organization after you have given explicit consent for that specific opportunity.
We retain your information while your account remains active or until you request deletion.
If there has been no activity for 12 consecutive months, we may securely delete your information.
You may request deletion or correction of your information at any time by clicking the Manage My Data link included in our emails, or by contacting salon1@pglengage.com.
We collect only the minimum amount of personal information necessary to operate our community.
